1. Open Gtalk and click on the user you want to check.
2. Open the chat windows and go to options. Then click on “Go Off the Record”.
3. Now send any message to that user. If you get any error like “the person is offline and can’t receive your message right now” then it means that the person is actually offline. But if you don’t get any such error then it indicates that the person is invisible.
